Sponsors Climb Onboard Expo Express

LOS ANGELES, NOV 19, 2009 – The heavily promoted Joe Jobs Expo attracted several more noteworthy sponsors this past month, including the California Employment Development Department, the Regional Chamber of Commerce - San Gabriel Valley, Best Jobs Magazine and Sukut Construction.

More than 1,000 job seekers have already pre-registered online to attend the Expo on Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at the Pacific Palms Resort in Industry Hills. The event, presented by Joe Barter, LLC, has garnered support from the Los Angeles Newspaper Group, one of its featured title sponsors, and the offices of California State Senator Bob Huff.

The Los Angeles Stadium project also will have a prominent presence at the Expo, because it is bringing thousands of new jobs to the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding areas. Expo job seekers, though, will find leads to many other types of job opportunities not connected to the stadium.

Its growing lineup of sponsors and exhibitors brings the Expo the kind of attention that is difficult to ignore. Several sports personalities, local government officials, and the media will be mingling with upward to 2,500 job seekers.

"Having a presence at the Expo gives sponsors and exhibitors the opportunity to gain positive media exposure and to show their support for both the stadium and for the people that need to find work," said Tom Daley, owner and president of Joe Barter and Expo chairperson.
