Joe Jobs EXPO Fact Sheet
Meet the Presenter
Joe Barter, LLC is presenting its first-ever Joe Jobs Expo to provide job seekers in the San Gabriel Valley and in the Los Angeles community at large with leads to employment opportunities they may have overlooked in their job search. The Expo will also provide a forum in which to promote the more than 18,000 new jobs (including 12,000 union construction jobs) associated with the development of the new Los Angeles Stadium, which is expected to break ground in 2010
Joe Barter is an online company that provides free access to thousands of classified ads and to other resources at joebarter.com. Registered members can buy, sell or trade products and professional services at no charge. Our membership is primarily comprised of business owners, professionals and "average Joes" looking to catch a break in a difficult economy.
We are also the parent company of Daley Technology Systems (DTS), an online company that connects business owners and professionals to a network of valuable services and resources that can help them remain competitive. DTS specializes in developing fundraising programs in association with local newspapers and in providing various services and resources to businesses and organizations
Why Host a Job Expo?
Since its launch in 2006, Joe Barter has been involved with the community. We have developed fundraising programs in partnerships with the Boy Scouts of America, the Los Angeles Newspaper Group (LANG), and with local schools and churches.
In these difficult times, it seemed like a natural progression for us to help our neighbors and Southern Californians in general find employment opportunities.
The economy will turn around only when those who are out of work find meaningful employment and become productive members of our community again.
Job seekers, exhibitors and sponsors are urged to join us for what we hope is the first in a series of Joe Jobs Expos to help put Southern Californians who need to find jobs back to work.
